Management of non-performing assets transferred from the International Bank of Azerbaijan to Aqrarkredit was ensured in accordance with the implementation of Presidential Decree No. 570 dated July 15, 2015, concerning restructuring measures related to the privatization preparation of state-owned shares in the International Bank of Azerbaijan.
Successfully implemented the credit component of the Integrated Rural Development Project financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), covering the Agdash, Yevlakh, Sheki, and Oghuz regions.
Successfully implemented the credit component of the North-West Rural Development Project financed by IFAD, covering Gazakh, Shamkir, Aghstafa, and Tovuz.
Successfully implemented the credit component of the North-East Development Project financed by IFAD, covering Absheron, Khizi, Shabran, and Siyazan.
Under Resolution No. 195s of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 9, 2003, the Agrarian Credit Fund Non-Bank Credit Organization LLC was merged into Aqrarkredit CJSC.
As part of banking reforms in Azerbaijan, the institution continued its operations under the name Aqrarkredit Closed Joint-Stock Company Non-Bank Credit Organization while preserving its legal organizational structure.
Aqrarkredit became the first institution in Azerbaijan to implement the credit component of the World Bank’s Farm Privatization Project.
Acted as an agent, jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture, on behalf of the Government of Azerbaijan for the leasing of agricultural machinery under an agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and Japan.
Established on October 26, 1992, as the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and operated as the Joint-Stock Commercial Agrarian Industrial Bank until 2001.
The Joint-Stock Commercial Agrarian Industrial Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan commenced operations on January 1, 1988.
Founded on October 22, 1987, as the Azerbaijan Republican Bank of the former USSR Agrarian Industrial Bank.
